for anyone who purchased this....I ordered a few copies from amazon and they all came without any factory seal plastic on it. Almost like it was a used copy??? Ive ordered every scorpion release from amazon and that never happened. Anyone else experience this?

It should come shrink wrapped but was does it really matter? Aslong as it's not damaged, why would you return it? So you can take the shrink wrap of yourself? I don't get it.

There's nothing to "get" - someone ordered and paid for a new product and that's not what they received. I would absolutely send it back AND expect some sort of apology at the very least. I wouldn't want an open item unless I specifically ordered one. Last edited by Cinema84; 04-30-2014 at 12:10 AM. |

since the movie has just been released on blu-ray, they cannot be used. so they are NEW and just not shrinkwrapped. we're not talking about getting send used movies sold as new products. people like you will get there amazon account banned eventually for sending stuff back that's perfectly alright. and then you even expect an apology. don't make me laugh captain ocd. If you ordered candy online and received an opened one, would you keep it? Or a computer, headphones, a CD, whatever - you paid for new merchandise and that's what you should receive. There is only ONE reason to receive an opened Blu-ray: it's an autographed or numbered edition. Unless, of course, you purchased a used item. Get a grip |

the movie has just been released, it has to be a new product that the ones on this forum have received. they probably forgot to shrinkwrap some of the cases send to amazon somehow, does that make it a used product? or is a used product a product previously used by someone? |

It may or may not matter, but when it comes to returning stuff to Amazon, it always comes down to the same question for me: Would I have picked that particular copy up off of a shelf in a store and bought it if I had seen it first? In this case I would have put it back and gone to another store. It's kind of a personal thing for everyone, as everyone has their own standards for their own collection and for specific titles within their collection. Yes, it is silly that "new" copies can go for so much more than "used" copies when sometimes the only difference is a piece of shrink wrap, but for me it's a matter of assurance that the disc is legit. It's also a matter of principle to some degree, as Amazon is CONSTANTLY sending me busted and/or beat up merchandise.
