I hope Disney really pushes and bullies JJ around. Giving full rein to these hipster fart directors is never a good idea. The movie will benefit for it.

JJ Abrams is an A-list director, not some 'hipster fart director'. What ever that is. And he is passionate about the original trilogy, so I have no doubts with him.

I really dont understand how holding the title works towards anything substantial. Its a title...release the damn thing already.

Making a big deal of announcing the title doesn't matter to the denizens of the interwebs but deftly playing the hype card can get announcements on local/national news and the like.

TV news directors aren't likely to go goofy over a shot of a news item on a website but footage of a roomful of grown men and women high fiving each other in star wars costumes?

I was under the impression that they haven't decided on the title until they announced it, at least that's what happened on the previous films.

Except for Revenge of the Sith, that one George Lucas already knew it since Return of the Jedi.
