Default "Animal" - Drew Barrymore Produced Creature-Feature

Looks entertaining. I like a good creature-feature.

Looks interesting. It seems to have some eye candy as well. Jeremy Sumpter (who I often confuse with Stephen Lunsford), Parker Young, and two former Nickelodeon girls (Keke Palmer, Elizabeth Gillies). Oh and there's that gay dude from G.B.F.

It certainly looks like Palmer is going to be the final girl in this one. Is she the first African American final girl we've had in horror since Jada Pinkett in 1995?

I'd watch based on the poster alone.

Is Drew Barrymore playing the creature?

Same here. It was terrible though. Hopefully this one turns out okay at the very least.

Creature was definitely awful, but still, I kind of had a blast seeing it on the big screen. But then again, I'm a sucker for stuff like 8 Films To Die For, etc, so I always jump at the chance to see indie horror on the big screen.

As for this movie, I really enjoyed the heck out of Chiller's Beneath, so if it's up to those standards, I'm sure I'll enjoy this.

This could actually be pretty decent. Drew actually directed this music video called Our Deal for a band called Best Coast and it's pretty good...

Btw, this is the extended version. There is a shorter version, but this one is a lot better because you get to understand the story a lot more.

It stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Miranda Cosgrove and Shailene Woodley.

It's too bad this couldn't get a wide theatrical release when Creature was able to get one. I'd go see this.

And yes, Beneath was a lot of fun. Watched it Sunday night.

I'd give this 4/10.

It's entertaining and crappy enough to make you pay attention through the short 78 minute runtime, but it had the potential to be so much better. It had decent amounts of gore, but the lightning was dark and shitty, the characters were completely stereotypical, and my God, the awful shaky cam! Every single time a good action scene/kill goes down, the camera has to have a seizure! The majority of the shots in the film are also way too close most of the time that it feels like they're trying to hide the fact that they're on a small set or something.

[Show spoiler]I was hoping the black girl would survive, because it's been awhile since we had a black final girl. I also knew the gay character would be secretly involved with one of the other guys as soon as all five characters appeared on screen.

I saw this a few days ago, And it's what you would expect from this sort of movie. It's almost very SYFY movie of the week-ish.

Felt like this movie was trying to hard to be like Feast. Which I thought was a better movie than this.

If you have 80 mins to waste, and you like creature flicks it might be worth your time.
