Yeah, the show kind of dropped off for a few episodes, but now it is getting good again. The finale shouldn't disappoint. They have always managed to get my jaw dropping every year for the finale so I expect the same this year.

I know it's not super important, but I really hope they continue taking new promo shots next season and in the future if the show goes on past 6 seasons. It's not looking good though, I haven't seen any new posters/promos since the main ones for this season were released. :/

I wouldn't be surprised if it goes at least one more season, this doesn't feel like a final season and as far as I know, people still watch it.

Imo, this show is really going down the drain. After enjoying the first 3 seasons, everything since has been garbage. Plots, character development and the overall intrigue ness to keep my attention. Damon turned into a sissy who pouts constantly and Elena is still annoying and manages to become more of that every episode from her willingness to take advantage of everyone who cares about her. The Originals departure pretty much cemented TVD into the ground. I absolutely love The Originals. The mature theme is greatly appreciated. None of that love triangle bs that is known to TVD and having a villain in Klaus is what makes the show.

This is one of the CW's bigger shows. I don't see this going away anytime soon unless the ratings plummet.

I think we'll see a tie-in between the two season finales of Originals and TVD, they've already mentioned Mystic Falls recently on the Originals.

Hasn't everyone died, came back, died again, and came back again by now? That's what I hate about these supernatural CW shows. They always find ways to bring people back.

I just watched and was totally shocked when they killed

. I know they have killed others and brought them back. As far as vampires I don't ever remember one having their heart ripped out and coming back thou. We will see, as the preview for the next episode made no mention of it.
