The watch it anywhere logos don't bother me as long as they're not included on sequels to other films. I want consistency.

Price for the HMV exclusive has dropped to £14.99 (same as the regular edition). Still not sure what it entails, but it could be just artcards (like Nymphomaniac), it could be a digipack (like Alpha Papa/Catching Fire, though a little unlikely at that price), a bonus disc or could just be alternate art/slipcover. We'll have to see nearer the time. Steelbook has dropped to £24.99 but I hope it drops a little more as that's still pricier than most places (except Zavvi).

Don't mind that myself! Not hugely fussed about slipcovers as they generally end up getting bashed about...I started to try and collect them but I've kinda given up. I will get one if it's there though.

Well seeing as we're selling the paperback for £2.99 at HMV I don't see why Sainsbury's would just give that away? Paperbacks are very cheap, especially in supermarkets.

I noticed they did that with The Hobbit. I generally don't really like the UV advertising but sometimes you can't really avoid it (e.g. Zero Dark Thirty).

With a week left to go, do we know any more about the store exclusives?

Can't exactly remember now- I may have read it on the steelbook thread- either here or on another site. I do remember the guy who posted the info actually works at HMV and found the information on the in store computer detailing upcoming products/releases.
I imagine you could try calling a HMV store next week as they should have detailed info closer to release day.

That might've been me (I work there and post on various threads/other forums too) but I was just speculating if it was because HMV have recently been releasing digibooks as exclusives (generally...exceptions have been a few steelbooks or the recent Nymphomaniac release which was a slipcover and artcards). I'll check again in the week as we'll likely have confirmation by then and I'll try and get some photos too of it and the steelbook as I'm excited for this release myself.

EDIT: woops just realised this whole time I meant digipack not digibook. Not heard the digibook rumour myself...will have to check it out!

Might have been a digipack and not a digibook then- can't remember myself! The steelbook looks lovely as well
(Don't suppose your store has any copies of the HMV Nymphomaniac Exclusive left )

Not sure actually it's been a weirdly popular title and we only got 2 or 3 in the first place so I doubt it (but I will check). Can't wait to see the steelbook...if it's disappointing I might go for the HMV exclusive though (whatever it might be). I hope the steelbook is yellow like it is in the picture (and my guess is it'll be matte too).

Thanks man I'd really appreciate it- as a collector of slipcovers I'd need the slipcover in mint condition, assuming you have a copy left that is. If not, no worries mate.
The Wolf steelbook looks lovely- I'm guessing it will have that semi-glossy/shiny satin finish rather than all out gloss...but the price is a bit steep.
May opt for the good old amaray and slipcover version. Never seen the film so quite excited after all the hype- just hope I'm not disappointed

Probably not, it's a Universal release over here. I thought the film was mostly digital anyway?

I hope it does, I'd trust Paramount any day over Universal
