I was all about this movie when I was a kid, I was hoping that a Jetsons movie with Jim Carey as George would have been made shortly after this but it never did.

If you take this movie for what it is, it's pretty good. It's a live action cartoon that plays it pretty close to the vest all the way through so what can anyone expect. This is not great cinema, but close to 2 hours of nostalgic fun if you just turn your brain off. Pretty good actors in this too.

This. It isn't a 'great' movie, but they did a live action version of The Flintstones really, really well. I've actually been waiting for this to come to Blu for quite some time, and I can't wait to see it in HD, because my DVD was really showing its age.

Glad this is finally coming out. I watched this movie all the time as a kid. I don't get all the hate some people have for it, though. I thought the actors were all good as well as the story.

Agreed, but unfortunately Warner Bros controls most of her best and most famous films, and they aren't releasing too much catalogue on Blu-ray at the moment. I'd love National Velvet, Father of the Bride, A Place in the Sun (through their deal with Paramount), Raintree County, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, BUtterfield 8, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. I'm kinda surprised that patch Adams hasn't been released on blu ray yet. I remember seeing this movie but it's been a long time ago.
