I think you mean THE, not THEY.
Here is the answer to your question: It's because the wave length in the color blue is defused up to 10 times more than the other colors, so the sky appears to be blue due to blocking out the other colors. |

When watching a British show on TV, why don't they work on their pronunciation?
There have been numerous British shows I've watched where a brother/sister, mother/daughter, etc. pair have two different accents and pronounce words differently. If they are supposed to be from the same family, living in the same area, and possibly even grew up together, why pronounce words differently? I realize if one actor is from Surrey and another is from Berkshire, that they'll talk differently. But when on a show where they are siblings, why not try to have the same pronunciations? Example: The brother on a show saying "Privacy" with a long "I" sound, and the sister saying "Privacy" with a short "I" sound. It's not so bad if they just work together on a show, they could come from different areas. But when it's a show where they are siblings, it just sounds weird. Is anyone else bothered by this? |

I mean people seem to be alot more happier than this was. Compared to getting married and it all goes to hell. It's like someone switches on the marriage switch.

A Childhood friend of mine died tonight, he was only 32, its really way to young. I feel like I've been ****ing lucky that I haven't died yet and I hate the really morbid feeling that I'm getting right now but its true. I turned 29 and death has been around me ever since. First My Grandmother passed away, My StepMom and now my friend. I feel like I've skirted my way through my 20s and now time is just flying. In a blink of an eye It'll be my Grandpa, My Dog and My Mom and I will be alone.

KT was much funnier than who I think you're speaking of.
You guys that are putting down marriage haven't been married, and likely haven't been involved in a serious relationship. You know absolutely nothing of what you speak of. That's what's currently on mind. |

i'm getting married, two months from sunday. the yard needs to be cleaned up and mowed. i need to save money for house projects that require a contractor and for my new display, i haven't made a decision on a tv or a projector. amongst all this, all i really want to do is sit on the couch, watching movies and tv shows and play video games.
