Costco and Sam's Club are pretty similar in the sense that they carry things in bulk, but they don't always carry the same products. I can't say if both stores sell the same movies. This may be one of those situations where you might have to just stop in and see for yourself.

I personally haven't been in Sam's in about a decade. But my mother does have a membership. She says they really only have new release Blu-Rays, never really any catalog releases. So I'm gonna guess and say no they do not have any Criterions Costco pretty much only started selling them about 2 weeks ago. And they usually have about half new releases, and half random catalog releases.

So I just opened up my Hitchcock Blu-ray that I got from Foxconnect today and what do I see? An $8 off coupon that expired exactly a year ago TODAY!

FYI, that $8 coupon is still good at Target. Just cut underneath the expired date and they will never know. I used it on 12 Years a Slave when Target was having that $13 sale.

Coupons are like cash to the store. When the store submits expired coupons for reimbursement, there's a chance they won't get reimbursed. Do what you like, but cutting off the expiration date is dishonest.

Quick trip to Best Buy. Still replacing my hddvd collection.

Pretty solid haul over the last few days...

Grabbed Hansel & Gretel 3D digibook for $15, the third season of Hawaii Five-0 for nearly half of the sticker price, the Independence Day steelbook for $20, and the Saving Private Ryan MetalPak from Walmart.


Grabbed this off eBay for cheap (surprisingly), which comes with that awesome poster. It's awesome to finally have a steelbook of this movie


...and finally, it took 3 Target's (including the one I work at) to get them, but it definitely proves that the third was a lucky charm..


Note: If you want the MetalPak's, get them as quickly as possible. Each Target gets only four copies of each film, so they're pretty scarce. And it is unsure if anymore will be shipped to the stores.

Question about The Rise of The Planet of The Apes metal pak or whatever its called. Does it have movie money for the new Apes movie coming out in July?
