Actually, I keep waiting for people to tell us how much it sucks and how there shouldnt be a thread about such a bad movie to begin with. You know, like the last Jumper thread.

Regardless, I can't wait to see it again on Blu.

how immoral is it to pick up a blu-ray laying out in plain view next to a bunch of boxed items, which are right next to the blu-ray section and then scan and pay for it at check-out?

Oh but wait...I don't care.

yellowblanketnot calling you a liar but few of our location here will not be able to get shipment til the 8th. If u got the thing then Hey! kudo to ya!
I'll post a pic when I get home from work of the blu-ray. Obviously I've been a member here for a while now and don't have a record of lying...so why start now?

Thats more incentive actually. I have learned my lesson wholeheartedly after contemplating buying 30 days of Night and August Rush blindly. I must watch all of my movies before buying them first.

I have never had the opportunity to see any early buys for blurays. But here at my local Blockbuster they put out Chronicles of Narnia and Signs a week earlier then they were supposed to come out. Thought that was pretty kool.

I'm starting to think that the whole fine for breaking street date is an empty threat.
I have a good friend that started a mailorder business back in laserdisc days and only recently left after selling to a larger company. There is no such thing as lawsuits or fines for breaking street date. Movie studios are corporations, not judical or legislative bodies. The most common penalty for repeated breaking of street date (and it isn't very common) is to ship product late which puts a company at a competitive disadvantage. The worst case is to cut a company off, but that is exceedingly rare.

And yeah, I'm sure any movie studio right now would want to piss off the world's largest retailer over a few Blu-ray discs.
