I figured on doing the same except if its not going to ship till July 2nd you are cutting 30 days pretty close.

Anyone see Cloverfield at Target? They have a 60-day return policy so that would be safer.

Target Has It. Went There This Morning To Get TWBB. They Had 5 Copies Of Cloverfield.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i checked my amazon order status and it says cloverfield and weeds s3 will be at my door on july 9th,

Im gonna cancel orders at amazon and buy both at best buy friday.

updated:

I just purchased both (just looked at bestbuy.com, its available at best buy i always go to) and will pick it up. I paid full to pick two orders up and will price adj to PM walmart cloverfield preorder price($17.98) and target online weeds s3 price.
I never done that before and will see if it works and it should no problem.

Yeah its nice to have amazon prime with free shipping and no tax. only few dollars to get it now is no problem. Too bad for Amazon lose cloverfield profit

i have emailed them and called them (I'm in Australia!) and I can't get an answer on cloverfield...
and face/off shows up as this:

Cloverfield and TWBB both show as shipping on June 3, but when you check the site they're both out of stock, I just contacted them about new est. shipping date.

i know it would be cheaper to get it from the states but face off has been out here on blu ray for quite awhile now.

yeah, I'm aware of face/off locally, but it's a different release in region a.
that, and the fact that it cost me about $25 shipped from amazon - whereas the cheapest it can be had in the shops here is about $37 or so...

Blame this one on the studios, not amazon. Contrary to those who keep saying that Blu-ray isn't taking off, it's this exact reason why it is. The studios simply can't keep up with the demand right now. Once more plants open up, this problem will be solved and prices will begin to drop.

I agree, the demand is exceeding what the studios can pump out of their BD replication plants. Hopefully this is will be a thing of the past come the holidays. BTW my copy of TWBB arrived today from Amazon.

yeah if they dont step it up it will become a problem and could hurt blu-ray

... I mean how can bestbuy in 12 stores dc,md,va not have any pattons in-stock

oh well I paid for 2day shipping from amazon

and it says its actually coming today

I lucked out I guess. My copies of Cloverfield and TWBB shipped out on Monday. Weeds S3 and Face/Off still had not shipped as of this evening, so I cancelled my order for those and went looking to buy them locally. I managed to get the last copy of Face/Off at Wal-mart for $19.96 but they didn't have Weeds. Neither did Best Buy. Not a big deal I guess as I watched every episode from Season 3 when it aired. I can wait on that one, and maybe even catch it on a good sale later

Really strange about Cloverfield and TWBB though. Wal-mart had a bunch of each left and I went there really late.
