Very disappointing.

Other back-seasons, however, (like Lost seasons 1 and 2) are not released yet because they are catalogue titles. The market for these is just not there yet - if brand new season releases aren't doing well, certainly ones people already have on DVD will do even worse. There's also the issue that these multi-disc seasons take up large amounts of authoring and replication time, time that at this moment is better spent on getting new releases and catalogue movies that are more likely to sell well out the door.

Both demand and production capacity will hopefully increase soon and we'll start seeing some back-seasons for shows that have made the jump to Blu-ray - but it's unfortunately not realistic to expect it now.
You mean they *think* that there is no market for these yet. There actually is a market for Lost Seasons 1 and 2; I know a lot of people who would buy these no question. I'm sure there are thousands of people in America alone who would snatch Lost Seasons 1 and 2 on Blu the moment it got released. Same thing with Nip/Tuck Season 1 and Rescue Me Season 1.

Disney just needs to get their heads out of their asses and give us some Blu Rays!
