Only the Collector's Edition titles (and most of the Chiller/new titles) have a slip. Your best bet at getting one is buying it fairly close to release date. Doing that, I have managed to get every one.

I feel like we need a "stickied post" at the top of the page with this information

No lie.
5 isn't one of my favorites. But I do like that one.

I hope that the 1979 miniseries version of Salem's Lot is exempt from this line of thought. I'd love to upgrade my DVD someday.

couldn't agree more. I just watched that movie for the first time after reading the King novel and loved the Tobe Hooper version. So creepy and didn't even feel like a made for TV movie. Now the one with Rob Lowe from 2004 on the other hand.....

(And I only know that from MST3K references, I don't think anybody actually watched USA Network back then, except for a campy Silk Stalkings following.)
Don't forget about USA UP ALL Night. All the great cult classics, b movies, and sexploitation movies from the late 80's/early 90's with the explicit content edited out.

Oh, believe me, I watched plenty of USA in the 90's into the early Millennium. Great memories. I believe they were also airing "Pacific Blue" quite a lot. The USA "Up All Night" show is also where I saw "Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood" for the first time, changed my life.

I learned most of what I know about cult movies from USA/TBS/TNT and religious reading of the TV guide as a youngun, I taped so many horror/sci-fi movies off late night USA and TBS and TNT, though TNT was definitely the best of the three with 100% Weird and Monstervision (especially during Joe Bob Brigg's tenure, before they made him start hosting mainstream crap on "up all night.") I credit USA with first viewings of all sorts of stuff, from Tremors to Big Trouble in Little China.

Their series were all bad though

I forgot about Joe Bob Briggs Monstervision. It was right up there with USA UP ALL NIGHT in terms of greatness. These kids today have no idea.

Hopefully some kind of technology comes out where we can set our TV sets to an era and go back and watch whatever was on. In fact, nobody f*ck with this, I'm getting it copyrighted as we speak. Coming soon to stores near you the "FlashbackTV." (Name subject to change.)

But seriously, I still cherish all those great moments of discovering things I now love on TV for the first time. Catching the tail end of MST3k on the Sci-Fi channel, ect.

There is a winner Joe Bob Briggs Monstervision was a true classic. I remember how truly bad the movies it, MST3K, and Elvira showed really were.

Here in Greensboro, NC we have a guy in a tux wearing Alice Cooper make up showing truly awful bottom of the barrel horror movies. These are so bad they aren't even funny and the host is truly one of a kind in a bad way...

This guy?

He's syndicated! the closest thing to Elvira on TV now, being that he's literally on nearly every TV in America on Saturday nights.

That is him thanks for the info and the laugh. I have watched him twice and had to struggle through him and the movies...
