Blu-ray Grand Duke

Our shows mostly get home video releases after they air. HBO are just weird. We should have been able to buy the series last week!
Although I'm still traumatized by one episode, the wait may do me good! |

I'll wait, I managed to get season 3 for £25 from Amazon in a short lived special offer. I pre-ordered & then cancelled from Sainsbury & Zavvi before that.

Don't know why people are so surprised at the long wait for the next season. It's pretty standard practice now for TV titles to get released just a few weeks before the new season airs. Works well for companies because it gives fans a chance to "catch up" and remember where they left off nearly a year ago, and saves on advertising costs because they get promotion of the new series on the back of promoting sales of the old.
If I were in charge of releases I'd do exactly the same thing! |

I will go for the Amazon.co.uk with bonus disc, just as I did with the previous seasons

I wouldn't mind if Zavvi or HMV got involved and sell an exclusive slipcover like the US have been getting. |

We're not surprised. It's not really standard practice for shows airing on the BBC or ITV (or even shows on SKY). Usually the get released the Monday after the last episode airs. That way people who loved the show will want to own it whilst it's still fresh in their minds and not 8 months later!
