Don't know why people are so surprised at the long wait for the next season. It's pretty standard practice now for TV titles to get released just a few weeks before the new season airs. Works well for companies because it gives fans a chance to "catch up" and remember where they left off nearly a year ago, and saves on advertising costs because they get promotion of the new series on the back of promoting sales of the old.
If I were in charge of releases I'd do exactly the same thing! |
