The picture still looks soft, but it is an upgrade over the DVD.

Is it worth upgrading if you already own the DVD? Depends on how much you like the film.

It might be worth getting just for all the extras.

got it at London Drugs for $15 , havn' t had time to watch it yet but it looks like a poor transfer , and no I do not have the dvd to compare

hmm, i don't have the SDVD but I was happy with the transfer on my blu. I wasn't aware this disc had any issues?

I gave it a shot with a rental and I gave it an hour with no incentive from what I was viewing to go further (though I've read patience is rewarded). Regardless, it could have the most BD for PQ and AQ and it still wouldn't matter to me. And I don't plan to rent it again to watch whatever transpired. I could easily see why some folks may walk out of a theater while viewing this.

This is one of my favorite horror films of all time! I bought it on blu-ray quite a while ago, but I have not yet mustered up the courage to crack it open. It's so painful to watch! AAAAHHHH! Luv it!

I have heard all kinds of opinions good and bad on this movie. It is a blind buy for me but i am sure i will like it.

I know what you mean. I agree though, it is a great movie, and definitely worth at least one watch. I own it, and haven't watched it in quite some time, I think I am about due again.

Awesome, just bought a copy. I don't think I've ever seen it for less than $20 or $25. Love this movie and love Miike.

I just saw this at a used store for like $15 and had no idea that it had even been released on BD!

I didn't pick it up, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, so I'm taking that as a sign that I should definitely revisit this one.

Already a fail. The scariest part of AUDITION was the psycho saying something in Japanese that sounded like "kitty kitty kitty" over and over again.
