Ah, my bad. I stand corrected. Only the main page pulls up.

I'm having the same problem. The following bad things have happend today in the US:

1. Unemployment had the biggest rise since `86
2. The Dow has fallen over 300 points
3. Analyst’s predicted that a barrel of gas would reach $150 a barrel by July 4
4. Amazon website is down

What's going on today???

Don't laugh. Friday is the last workday. What if there is no tomorrow? It's has been overcast all day. It is supposed to jump to 94 degrees tomorrow. Hell creeps closer .

I noticed that amazon.com stock was down almost 3% today. Website is not available. Hmm . . .

Any guess how much money amazon.com loses for every SECOND they're offline?

But I don't think it's anything serious. What I think happened was that amazon.com took themselves offline so they could do a MAJOR price reduction on every Blu-ray title. So when they come back up, you should see at least a 60% reduction on all Blu-ray titles.

Woo hoo, Amazon is reducing blu-ray titles by 60%! I've passed along the info to all the major hi-def sites so everyone can start their weekend off with a bang. Thanks for the heads-up!

According to their yearly earnings, they are losing about $31,000 a minute!

It's down for me to, but they can still take money out of my bank account. That went through fine.

This is what happened

http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/06/06/...ls-amazon-com/

"Well, good job folks. We told you that amazon.com would sell the Metal Gear Solid 4 80GB bundle today. And you all listened. Thousands of you swarmed the site, got rid of their inventory in seven minutes, and best of all -- you killed amazon.com.

Demand for the Metal Gear bundle was so high, that the popular online retailer simply couldn't handle the traffic. If this is the fervor in just one store, imagine how well the bundles are going to sell when they release nationwide next Thursday."

I picked up the HD antenna. We don't do cable out here in the country and only get 2 channels so hopefully this will help us pick up more.
