Last night my girl was laughing at how much it rattled my windows.
Being in Chicago, why don't you keep your eyes open for a used SVS on CL?

BUT don't pay $600 for it

Oh cool.... Thank you. I have looked but there was nothing speaker wise to peak my interest but I will definitely do that since I have 2 weeks. There were some nice definitive techs. On there but I just wanted something simple. I wasn't about to put 2000 grand and was impressed by the pioneers. Value for what we need at the moment. Thank you again I definitely will keep my eye on CL. Thank you for the heads up with pricing.

I've seen the SVS PB2 Plus used on various forums and CL for $5-$600. My friend recently picked up a third one for $525!!!

Don't ask why. One is enough for most rooms. Damn thing felt like it weighs 200 lbs or so! But I'm sure Billy will tell you that there is always enough room for one more!!!

Take your time one will come up sooner or later.

Thank you for your response. Svs seems to be the way to go. Everyone has said Svs. And I really enjoy the one I have. Thank you for your help.

If you are not opposed to buying used. I found this on Craigslist in the Chicago area. I used zip code 60647 as a reference point.

Here is a sub that I have heard in the past at DIY speaker meet. Some people say that the 18"+ drivers are not fast enough. I don't know which drivers they were listening to but his sub is a true beast. I can't vouch for the condition of this subs. But for the price they are asking its worth checking out!!!!

Thank you for your response. Seems Svs is the way to go. That is the way I was leaning but thought I might give some other a try if people felt it was close between hsu and Svs. Thank you again
