After the Director and company lied to the playerbase a 2nd time I do not consider this thread crapping I consider it informing the uninformed. If you like the game more power to you, my opinion should not matter to you. But those that have not purchased and are considering may love to know how toxic the community is, how rampant the PC cheats are, and how poorly the game is executed once you get past the storyline.

Even if the motivation you're touting is the truth (which I'm quite skeptical) it's hardly relevant to a promotion offering a free weekend specifically to those who have already purchased the game.

SE has announced a 14-day free limited trial for the PC. You can try to get some of your console-averse friends hooked.

After leveling a black mage I decided to level an Arcanist so I could be a healer. It's so much easier getting into dungeons it's almost ridiculous. This should make leveling and getting into Crystal Tower more of a breeze.

Actually Arcanist leveling is nice because it's a "2 in 1" class. Level Arcanist to 50 and you'll have both a summoner and scholar if you level the secondary classes to 15.

I figured that out accidentally when I got to 30. I activated the summoner crystal and am close to activating the scholar. I'm enjoying the class so far. While playing the conjurer I miss my little tank pet.

The problem is, the distribution of your attribute points. I've used Paladin, White Mage, Black Mage and Archer, but the Arcanist class is easily my favorite because you can basically take on all of the roles of tank, healer and dps at the same time. The downside, as with the attribute points, you then cannot really become as strong in any one of those roles as other Jobs.
