My guess is the only thing that will be missing on this set will be the ABC bumpers, which were on most bootleg sets floating around out there.

Nice! The set looks good enough to me! The cover is about how I imagined it, with the vibrant colors, Adam and Burt in costume, the big logo, with all the onomatopoeia phrases. The shot of them scaling a building on the side of the box is a nice touch too. Digipacks wouldn't be my first choice, I'd rather have cases, but it's better than a big book with sleeves like the Bond set. I'd rather have a coffee table book with pictures from the production and behind the scenes and some information on the history of the show and it's impact and legacy than a Hotwheels Batmobile (which I already own ) and a deck of cards. I wonder what makes this set limited other than the packaging and those two items. Maybe the later set will come in cases like say The Twilight Zone complete set. Overall though, fantastic! I don't care as much about this reveal as just having the thing in my hands, but this does make it harder to wait!

Now, just waiting on the specs...

I don't know what the bumpers are but I think they said that they would be included

The bottom Right section proclaiming that die cast Batmobile is kind of tacky if that is permanently on that cover art. That is a huge section that cheapens the look of the box art. That would have been quality space to feature other show characters.

So I just went to Amazon to see if they updated with any new pictures of the set, and the "bought together" caught my eye as being pretty odd.



Who in their right mind would but BOTH the BD and DVD versions?
