Need some help picking a new player.

I have the BDP-S1 and the picture IS amazing. Throw in the PCM audio track and you've got state of the art without all the audio codec issues (DTS MA and DolbyTHD). My TV is 720p and it looks frikkin good, I'm not sure how much clearer 1080p can get.

Not sure what all the to-do with PS3 is, I thought that was a game system that played movies? When I checked the back at the store, there was no analog output, digital coax, and I think it was missing some other outputs, as well. Also, game drives are known for going out, not AV drives. I think that's how they get away with charging 600, cuz you're gonna need a new one in a few years...
