I think the guy who wrote this article might need to double check his sources.

1) There has been no official confirmation of a Heavenly Sword 2, only rumors, some including a guy instead of our good ol Red hair Beauty.

2) Ninja theory has publicly said that they were through with Exclusives, and that they were now going multi-platforms only.
They used their first title (sponsored by Microsoft) to get their gears going on Xbox platforms, and then used their second title (Heavenly Sword, sponsored by Sony) to shape up on the new PS3 platform.
They have basically admitted using sponsored exclusives to get to know well both types of platforms, and are now going to do multi only.

3) They have admitted that Heavenly Sword is a Sony owned property (Intellectual Property), so they are out of the game as far as Heavenly Sword goes, unless Sony would agree to a 360 release (yeah right ).

So this article is BS based on old rumors

We do not even know if a new studio is working or not on a HS2...

wheee! thank God I thought that this meant a 360 release (a sub-port obviously ) and it's cool but I wish there was a sequel. I loved this game, but hay there will be other cool games coming to a ps3 !

I've got HS sitting here, never played it.

Think I'll go start it now and see how it is.

You've had it sitting there and never played it? You've been missing it. It's a great game, but very short.

How short? As in COD4 solo-missions short? That game was over in hours

Yes, about the same length. 6-8 hours, depending on your level of skill.

Plenty to it if you enjoy the game enough to retry sections for all the glyphs or the harder difficulty setting.

Heavenly Sword 2 was never announced and seeing as parts of this rumour have already been debunked, I wouldn't pay too much attention to the rest.

I know, I know.

My games collection is huge. I just don't have the time.

Can't tell you the last time I completed a game before this month. So far this month I've completed GTA4 and Kung Fu Panda.

I'm on chapter two of Heavenly Sword now and so far it's pretty fun. I liked the cannon sequence the best. Tomorrow everyone is leaving the house for about 6 hours and the kids aren't coming home, so it looks like me and HS have a marathon playing session to attend.

This is a shame.. HS has such potential to become a really great series and I was looking forward to some more. Was an awesome game that helped fill a void in time for the PS3 too.

No word from Sony doesn't mean there won't be a HS2
We just know (atm) that it won't be by Ninja Theory, that's all
