I don't understand what Pirates being delayed has to do with Sony but whatever.

For some reason people think Blu-ray=Sony, when in actuality Blu-ray=BDA as in Blu-ray Disc association. There are tons of companies that make up the BDA. Sony is putting out killer encodes, they have a top-notch BD player for $600, that happens to play video games, what more do you want from Sony? They have been the largest proponent for BD, maybe its time to start screaming at some of the other companies involved?
