Was this not shot on video? I'm not sure we'd gain from a blu, though the DVD version I've seen is quite poor.

It was shot on 35mm film. Can't remember the extent of VFX in this one though, but if there were any then they were likely edited on tape.

Didn't know until recently that something like three years ago a 2-CD Intrada limited edition score/soundtrack album was released of music from Stephen King's IT.

I would love to have It, and Salem's Lot, on BD.

Especially since It was released on a crappy double-sided DVD.
