Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if all the special features from the DVDs carry over to this Blu-ray set? Thanks for the info.

I only have the first season on DVD to compare it to, but the season 1 blu-ray has a spectacularly misjudged white-on-white menu, I had to guess my way through the language selection screen, but the main menu is slightly better. Episode selection is done via images rather than names, which is really unhelpful. (Edit: Upon further inspection, the images are accompanied by the corresponding episode number, but it's hard to spot if you don't know it's there.) It's also missing the US Pilot, and therefore the commentary that accompanies it is also missing...

On the positive side it does have 5.1 audio and English subtitles, which were omitted from the UK DVD release. As well as a Gag Reel and Fan Q&A, which were all missing from the UK DVD release.

Overall my first impressions are that it's a great package, which improves on the UK DVD release by a long margin, but it's hampered by poor menu design, and completists might want to pick up a copy of the Season One DVD for the US Pilot and accompanying commentary (in the DVD version the US Pilot is hidden away in the bonus features menu of the 4th disc, so it's possible I missed it).

I only checked Season One, but it's missing the US version of the Pilot and it's accompanying commentary, but adds a Fan Q&A and gag reel which were missing from the UK DVD release.

There are 9 minutes of deleted scenes, I'm assuming all of them having carried across but I didn't check too closely.

Buzz, is the proper US pilot & it's commentary definitely not included anywhere (like on the last disc of season 1 as on the dvd)?

What about the other episode commentaries across all 3 seasons, are any of them included on blu-ray?

Neither the US Pilot nor it's commentary are on the special features menu on the third disc (and there's nowhere else they could be), but the commentary on "Dogfight" is included.

Based on BBFC submissions, Season 2 is missing the commentaries on "She Knows", "Rewind", "High Noon" and "War", it does not have any commentaries on the disc at all. (I do not know if any were included on the DVD, but all were submitted to the BBFC.)

Finally, some good news, Season 3 appears to have all the commentaries submitted to the BBFC, "The Other Time" and "No Way Out".

Despite the missing commentaries and poor menu system for season 1 (it's fixed for season 2 and 3), it's a great set and the pessimist in me thinks it won't ever get a reissue in the US, which is probably the only way a version with the commentaries could surface. So my advice would be buy the blu-ray set and if you really want the commentaries, perhaps pick up the S1 and 2 DVDs during the sales...
