Well, the A-man will tell you DD+ at 1.5Mb/s is all you need.

Rome seasons 1 and 2 are high on my list if they come out on Blu-ray with PCM. HBO killed off Rome way too soon. It was the best show on television period!!!

I would also buy "the complete package" of the Soprano's on Blu-ray if they decide to release it that way.

HBO killed off Rome??

So Rome only had 2 seasons? What a F**KING JIP! It was bad enough they killed off Carnivale, but to now kill off Rome? Even more terrible. Well, I won't be buying either of those just for the fact that they killed them off.

Also, HBO has the balls to charge 80 bux per season for Carnivale and Rome - even tho they canceled them. Kinda bold and presumtuous if you ask me.

I will buy Sex And The City, OZ, Big Love (if it keeps going), Six Feet Under if they come to BD. Not sure they will but it would be badass.

I don't think HBO was the one to make the decision about Rome. It was a co-production between HBO and the BBC and from what I understand, the BBC never wanted to take it past 2 seasons.

I was also upset that they only did 2 seasons of Rome. It was an awesome show. I can kinda see the reason though as it's historically based and might not have had as much broad interest for the time periods after Julius Caesar and Marc Antony. I definetly miss watching it on Sunday nights

I have Season 1 on standard DVD and it's pretty well done. I'm not positive that I would replace it if it shows up on BD considering what HBO charged for the Sopranos. More than likely I'll just get Season 2 on DVD and call it good.

Very true. After Octavian becomes Emperor Augustus, it's somewhat boring after that. Oh, don't get me wrong, history is grand and all (after all, I teach it) but it just isn't very juicy after the deaths of Marc Antony and Cleopatra until you get aways down the road to the likes of Caligula and Nero. If you want some overly juicy watching of that, there's always the film version of Caligula with all the naughtiness you can take (and then much more). However, I would say that Season 2 of ROME seemed way too rushed at many points. I could have been very happy with it slowing down a bit and having 3 seasons. Then again, I'm not in charge! LOL

How about Deadwood? Great show - especially the first two seasons.

I would like to see Deadwood and Entourage on bluray. Lucky Louie was good...but they cancelled it after 1 season.
