So, by reversing the logic if the two POTC were combined, they would stick at 21 (currently 21 & 22) rather than jump up the rankings due to the sales being combined.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I'm not sure what would happen in this case. It's possible the combined sales would be higher, assuming there are a signficant number of people buying just one of the discs.

The Matrix, decombined, might be a net positive. I certainly would expect the original to sell a lot more. But, the other two less.

But, a serial TV series makes no sense being decombined. Nobody is looking for weeks 2 & 3 (for example) and nothing else.
