Wink You are ALL WRONG

There is no doubt that the most skilled actor in the history of cinema is Paul Reuben.

Discussion over !!!

B/C most of the people you list are dead and the thread is only supposed to discuss living actors according to the OP.

The OP only stated on Earth. Therefore the ones that are dead are technically still on our planet and can be listed.

My thoughts exactly. The first two that came to mind are Marlon Brando and Daniel Day-Lewis.

After them, I can't leave out Robert DeNiro, Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins and Dustin Hoffman. And Robert Downey Jr is one of the most underrated.

As for females - Meryl Streep is probably the best actress in history. With Katherine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Jodie Foster.

Worst big name actor is definately Kevin Costner.

Single WORST performance I've EVER seen in my life is Michael Gambon as Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies. Did he even watch the first two? He doesn't even know who he's playing!

I don't feel like I've seen enough foreign performances to comment on them.

Technically, no.

They are still on Earth, either buried or as ash.....unless some were shot into space, but now I'm just being ridiculous!

Back OT, I've got to go with Tom Hanks or Denzel Washington.

Everyone keeps on talking about this one even my wife saying how great of a movie it is yet I haven't seen it.

I was thinking of waiting until it went Blu, but I'll break the seal and put it in my Netflix queue now.

Thanks for the tip!

Well, Kinski was a good one. But actually most of the time he did not have to act :-)
Anyway, for me it is Gert Froebe (aka Goldfinger), and not only for his role in the Bond Movie...

our argument still complies with the edited OP. after all, aren't we just spiritual beings having a human experience? hence spiritually alive always?

OP never said "biologically dead"
