I seem to remember that particular thing seemingly slow down and last longer than it did which was a couple of seconds but lasted almost a second or two more in my memory of it.

So you can get thise sense of slow down from your sofa in front of your TV, so i claim you wrong.
LOL! You've taken the point at an odd angle somewhat as I didn't say it wasn't possible to get a sense of time slowing down whilst sitting on a sofa.

I ended with saying; " So why we should be able to detect motion judder whilst sitting relaxed on a sofa watching the tele is beyond me."

Read the post again and make sure you're on the right wave length, oh and it's "you're not your".

LOL! I get ya!

Seriously though, have a scan on the web for 'flicker fusion threshold'. You were probably experiencing the same sort of tension as when one is put in danger in real life. Trust me, 'Resistance' got my heart thumping many times as it is an immersive environment and one tends to become gripped in the task at hand (shooting the Chimeran's) rather than being concious of where one actually is.

So yes, you can experience the sense of time slowing on the sofa, but only if the situation copies a tense situation in which the body would normally react to as one of endangerment.

LOL, Try a one hit kill carbine only online match in any lvl and check what that can do for your adrenaline lvls, it usually gets me to number 1 within 20 mins of starting if i'm 5-10 minutes later into a game, sometimes longer.

I usually get about a 2:1 kill/death ratio.

To be honest, the offline game was so intense I don't think I have the nerve to go online. My hands are shaking just thinking about it.

I finally stepped up and played RFOM online today after owning it since february.....

too bad I couldn't get my PS3 to switch to my bluetooth headset....it recognizes it...but it just won't let me actually select it

it didn't matter, I'm sure I would have heard the words "pwnd" and "noob" about 30x each anyways.......

my kill to death ratio was about 1:3.5
