I think Criterion's still attached to The Brood.

And though it's not exactly horror, I'm hoping for Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.

Whisper to a Scream? one of my underrated fave anthologies, Price rules!

I also hope for another universal deal as we want The Sentinel (1977) on BD or the Universal Hammer Collection.

Yes about The Brood.

I do think Bogus Journey has a chance. It is like Once Bitten in that it is a comedy that has elements of horror. Hell is one of the main settings and the Grim Reaper is the third character. It fits well enough.

Keep your hopes low... I've been waiting for them to officially announce the title since at least Spring of 2013 when many of us were talking about the iTunes versions of films Criterion had yet to release. It took them a full year just to put out Scanners, so at this rate it'll be another year at least until we see The Brood.

An article written by an "insider" claimed The Brood was coming in October. Either it was delayed or the guy was full of it.

I like the new title announcement. More Price is always good.

It's definitely coming, it's just a question of when:

I am not sure how I did this, but when I bought Final Exam ($11.99), and Motel Hell ($15.99), I got free shipping on those (Which I understand is part of the deal), but I also got free shipping on My Dolls Blu Ray Pre Order ($21.95) with the poster

This sale rocks

Someone should tell the admins at DVD Drive-In (and Mondo-Digital) that their super-stretched formatting layout makes reading the reviews a bit of a chore. I guess it's less of an issue on smaller displays with narrower page windows, but still.

Was SF going to do daily "announcement" every day in October? If so was there anything announced today? I'm really hoping to hear something about Dog Soldiers. I know it was pushed to Q1 2015, but I have this bad feeling that it's not going to happen at all.

Yeah, The Brood is possibly my #1 most wanted title, and has been since the tease. I try to not get my hopes up around the 15th anymore

They said no. No daily announcements. They just hit the pavement running on October first is all it'll probably taper off, if not already.

I'm waiting for the full specs of 'Lord of Illusions' to be announced. The only thing confirmed so far is the Dec release date and that both theatrical & Dir Cuts are included, is that correct?

Ah, okay. Kind of what I thought. Not a big deal, as I'm sure we'll get some nice info before the month is out.

Sorry for the double post I didnt get a response from the sales thread

so my favorites are the likes of Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th. My favorites from Scream are The Burning, The Fog, Witchboard, Terror Train, Prince of Darkness.

Can anyone recommend Night of the Demons and Final Exam to qualify for the deal? Or are there some better 11.99-14.99 titles?

I think you'd be safe with those two, especially Night of the Demons. It's a personal favorite.
