I think most critics would compare Wall-E to the rat movie rather than the fish movie. It is a very sophisticated science fiction movie similar to how the rat movie is a very sophisticated culinary film. Adults might enjoy Wall-E more than children in the same way adults preferred the rat movie. Not only is Wall-E a top notch animated feature, it delivers a very cool message that we all need to pay attention to especially in this crazy time in our history (especially for us living in the US).

The short film playing just before the feature is very funny (one of the best shorts I’ve seen from Pixar).

Wall-E is highly recommended on my list and I think that Lasseter and the rest of the Pixar team are brilliant.
