Two Face probably will be the main villain in part three...this is possibly setting up a fourth installment.

Interesting... third film in the original series had Riddler and Two-Face... Will they be teamed up again in some fashion? And at the same time in THIS series? Could be interesting.

Now, the ultimate question is... who would you want playing the part of The Riddler? Myself, I'm partial to Jim Carrey's performance. However, since it is guaranteed that he won't play the part again, I'd have to throw my vote to Bruce Campbell... if he doesn't get recruited for the Captain America project . I think that he could stretch his skills a bit to provide an interestingly dark take on that character. And, I'd also give a hearty thought to Ryan Reynolds!!! That would be a great chance for him to show what he is made of. Otherwise, maybe we could see Ben Stiller pull it off?

I dont think it needs to be a comedian. Ben Stiller might be the worst possibility ever.

LOL... hence the

And, Ryan Reynolds may be well known for his comdies, but his dramas/actions are pretty damn good! Besides, he has that quality where he doesn't need to try and be funny in order to be funny. Which would fit perfectly into Chris Nolan's Batman stylings. Ryan Reynolds could play it straight, be enjoyable as a villain, AND bring an unexpected laugh or two. After all, although the movie was only so-so, his performance in 'The Amityville Horror' remake was damn scary! The riddler as a character is just silly enough that it has to have a comedic element to it.

Jim Carey was pathetic as the Riddler.
Ben Stiller? Are you serious?
HAve you ever even picked up a Batman comic?
Riddler is a sick genius, he is not a cackling one liner machine.
They need someone that can sell the genius side of it as well as the sick side.
I am sure that they will come up with someone.

Reynolds is already wrapped up in Deadpool, both in the Wolverine movie as well as a possible spin off.

No he wasn't. Given the direction of the film, he did exactly what was required for the part to work. Blame the director, not the actor. Joel Schumacher's vision and Jim Carrey's performance were perfectly paired. Given the opportunity within a darker scenario I have full confidence that he would also fit in perfectly with Chris Nolan's darker vision.

He still needs to be somewhat humourous. I'm not saying that he has to be goofy. Obviously, with this new incarnation, there is need for something more serious. But, the riddler is still a character that has always seemed a tad too "over the top" to be taken as purely serious. The whimsical nature of riddling always just seems too playful to not have some actual fun with.

Oh yeah. Forgot about that. But, I still think that he would be an ideal choice.

umm im pretty sure if the riddler is going to be in the 3rd one that will be all, cause a while back Nolan said he would go for a 3rd batman but that is it. No more after that. So i wouldnt be looking forward to a 4th film, but i hope to see the riddler soon

I think the Riddler will be like Two Face in the Dark Knight.
Anthony Michael Hall would have been perfect, Depp would definitely be good also.
Eccentric is the best way to describe Riddler I think, and the best way to approach it.

You probably disagree with me but I wouldn't mind seeing Dane Cook play the Riddler. Did you catch him in Mr. Brooks, he was sick in that movie and he does have that comedic side going for him.

Since Christopher Nolan is a genius at unexpected and appropriate casting, I don't think there's any way to guess who would be the best at The Riddler.

After all, would anyone have answered Heath Ledger to the question "Who should play the Joker in the next Batman movie?" Totally unexpected and apparently a great choice.

Ya, I figured that would be the case. Not too much of a spoiler for me.

Same for Dent/Two-Face. Eckhart was always a strange choice because he seems like such a nice guy in all of his movies.

Well considering
[Show spoiler]how they were hyping Two-Face to be the main villain in the 3rd movie, it is a pretty big spoiler. But Eckhart has said Two-Face is mainly a vigilante in TDK rather than an outright villain, so it makes sense to end his storyline in this movie. But Nolan criticized the previous Batman movies for killing off the popular villains, so that was another reason this is going to be a big surprise for many Batman fans.
