Same thing happened to me when I bought an exotic armor engram. It decoded into a helm for a warlock (I'm a Titan). It would be interesting to know how many others bought an engram that decoded into a piece for a class other than their own. Anyway, that's why I created a warlock last weekend. Got her up to level 20 last night, equipped my exotic helm and legendary chest armor that I got from a Cryptarch level-up (from my Titan), and now she's up to level 23.

Color me underwhelmed. I already have Steel Oracle, and the hunter/warlock pieces don't wow me, so I think at best it's an exotic chest engram for me. One of the upsides of having 2 classes now is having a 66% chance whatever I get will be useful - though with my luck it will be for a Titan instead.

This seems to keep happening to me. When i get legendary items after raids or find one (and that is rare) its never for my character (titan). Its been Warlock 3 times now.

Hit lvl 28 lastnight........Gonna try to get to 29 before the end of the weekend. Then it'll be time to give that damn VoG a try (I fully expect to die.....many.....many times lol)

Bungie have begun recyling a lot of existing exotics with slightly different stats which is just further proving how crap development of this game has been. A pathetic shell of a game you somehow for some reason can end up playing for hundreds of hours, but will then probably hit a brick wall.

It's why as I keep mentioning. I've reduced the amount of time I play to almost only a few days per week at bet since last week. There's literally no proper high end content and the raids drop rewards so randomly they're an infuriating piece of crap that makes you want to double or triple roll the same class; transfer gear and do the raid 3x a week till you get all raid pieces.

Bungie should release more free DLC for fans cosidering all the crap we've had to put up with. Fun factor alone doesn't make up.for this sparse shell of games content. Even the planned DLC is practically content they gutted to nickel and dime gamers.

They NEED new and fresh content pre-DLC for free. Maybe not story based, but something new and interesting. Heck, give us those 'diverse' high end gears they made out were available.

I would purchase the Titan armor but I already have two exotic helmets and just got the raid chest and boots (again) for my Titan last night in the raid.

You are very funny. You probably invested (wasted) more time in this game between the alpha, beta and retail version than anyone else here, and you are also the most bitter. That's true irony. If the game was too generous, we'd all be done by now. Same if it was predictably generous. Whoever was in charge knows the random reinforcement rate it takes to get you hooked. Like a slot machine, it is. Except instead of dumping coins, we are dumping time.



I finally wasted six shards on garden variety legendary boots to get to level 29. I only had 76 of them in the vault before I played today's heroic story and had a legendary turn into one.

Indeed! I wish I had the willpower to call it quits. During the PSN outage, I actually installed Driveclub. That's as far as I got. Then I had to do dailies with two characters to get the shards and the weekly heroic with my other 28 to get the coins. Shards and coins, man, I can't stop wanting more. Then someone told me about the hard raid helmet, and oh crap! I gotta get me one of them, too.

November is looking good as far as games go. I can see a lot of people bailing around then.

There's only so much people can take. I've done the raid 5-6 times now and have boots and a VoC to show for it. Making something needlessly repetitive and hard simply because that's all the content you have available just doesn't fly with me.

I'm getting tired of trying to get level 30 and I'm starting to wonder... so I hit 30 ... then what?

Truth is better, IMO, I've had both, now I only run with the Truth, I dismantled Gjallarhorn to get the energy from it to use in the Truth. (side note, pro tip, even if you are not going to use a legnedary/exotic weapon or armor, rank it up until the point of having to add energy/shards to get it higher. You'll get way more from it and sometimes even Rifle Telemetry.) The seeker warhead does wonders against mobile bosses. It will even follow them behind cover. Once you hear it's "lock on tone" fire 2 quick rounds, reload, rinse and repeat.

If you're luck enough to have legendary armor that can carry more heavy ammo(I haz), you'll have 7 rounds instead of 5.

I played DAOC for almost 4 years and WoW for 2, if they are going for an "MMO" experience they are failing miserably lol.

Me too, man, me too. I have Alien Isolation, Evil Within, and Shadow of Mordor just sitting there. With each purchase, I was saying to myself, "This will finally give me a break from Destiny". It's just not happening.

With Xur having nothing I want, all my armor and weapons I like maxed, and the raid and strikes completed for the week, I'd like to play a different game tonight. But.....I really want to try out my new Universal Remote shotgun, and I know that will eventually lead to something else I'll "want" to do.
