There are a ton of other great horror movies that should be released. But alot won't because "not as commercial" or high in demand unfortunately. But one that I can't wait to come to Bluray is The Amityville Horror

Without The Exorcist you wouldn't have Hellraiser! The Exorcist is long overdue on BLU!

If you want The Exorcist on BLU, the guy that runs captainhowdy.com
did a petition to get it released on HDDUD awhile back and Warners did start working on it. We need to go and tell him to start the petition up again and get on BLU!

Send an email to WB for Exorcist and New Line for Nightmare On Elm Street. Anchor Bay doesn't have the rights to those films, but they do for Hellraiser, which is why they're releasing it.

It was also Clive Barker's only good film (someone else directed 'Raiser 2), back when few people outside of the niche even read his books.

I disagree, Nightbreed was also a phenomenal film and way before its time.
Not to mention that the Books of Blood as well as The Damnation game are still considered some of his best and they were released before Hellraiser came out (and are how I got to know of Barker, not the film)

Damnation Game has been mentioned for a film adaptation for a long time, I hope we see that at some point.

Maybe with Meattrain coming we'll see a few more Barker films. I'd love to have Nightbreed on Blu, especially if it had the deleted scenes or a director's cut.

^ So far the only title of theirs that got a date was Final Countdown. Hopefully the others aren't too far behind.

Books of Blood are next, Barker seems genuinely excited about it.

Nightbreed needs to be released uncut. They butchered that one.

Yeah, hopefully one day Barker will get access to all of the footage again so that he can give it a real release.

Weaveworld was supposed to be done by Showtime, that was over 10 years ago. Thief of Always was supposed to be an animated movie and then a live action movie and now, maybe not. Disney bought the rights to the Abarat Quartet before they were even published and now the rights are back to Clive Barker. Seems like none of his stuff can make it off the ground. There were those two awful SciFi Channel movies.

Even Lionsgate wants to push Midnight Meat Train right to video after a short limited theatrical run.

The Midnight Meat Train drama has nothing to do with Barker, it has everything to do with the film being tied to someone who was outsted from Lionsgate and the new regime trying to bury anything tied to the old regime while pushing their own crap (Prom Night) to the masses.
