Saw the movie a few days ago and enjoyed it, as the friends who were with me. It's not perfect (Eva Green, whom I'm rather fan usually, isn't atrocious like Doctor Jack said but she overplays a bit) and except that scene in the very end with Chris Meloni that totally surprised me, some elements of the story are quite predictable. But the job done to recreate the late 80's/early 90's aesthetic is truly awesome, as the atmosphere established by Araki. The soundtrack, which features an impressive collection of hits, contributes a lot to it besides. On top of that, you've got Shailene Woodley's performance which for my part is more than worthy (haven't seen any of her films before and well, must admit I didn't expect that kind of show ). So in the end, gave it a nice 7/10 and a little birdie told me there's a good chance I'll buy the Blu-ray. If only to watch again that tremendous night club scene.
