Batman Begins (2005) - Page 15 - Blu-ray Forum

Hi guys.
Well my blockbuster messed up and had a copy of the deluxe edition of the Batman Begins on the shelf to buy today. I snag it imediately. I have to say it stands up fairly nice. I would give the video a solid 3.5 to 4.0 Ive seen better ala I robot Troy and Narnia. Ill wait and see what the Blu Ray administrator gives it next week when its released.
All in All a definate buyer.

I'll be renting Batman Begins next week on BD because I'm not a Batman fan and never seen it but I will go see The Dark Knight at my local IMAX theater.

I'm still waiting for the sequel to Superman Returns which is called Superman: The Man Of Steel which begins filming very shortly if I'm not mistaken.

Hey guys.

Got my gift set today ala Blockbuster!!

Awesome flick. I must say I gave it a solid 4.0. Still not the picture quality of say Narnia or I Robot.

Nice pick up though. I would suggest snagging it next week.

The box is flimsy. The only thing missing out of this gift set is some crayons and a Batman coloring book.

I picked up a copy today at a blockbuster in atlanta, but it was the only one they had. It was the gift set. I am a little dissappointed with the sound. The base does kick in at times but the sound does'snt have the complete sharpness and clarity it should. Warner brothers need to step their game up on sound. It's not bad but after you hear PCM tracks, mannnnn!! I have heard DTS tracks that stand pretty well, and so can the format used on batman begins because it is used on spider man and it sounds really good. Still, nothing can compare to a PCM with a high bit rate.

Repeat thread or not, you're my hero.

I hadn't been following the master thread thinking it was just discussing PQ/SQ, etc. so I had missed that it was being sold at Blockbuster already. After seeing this thread, I went and checked and sure enough, they had it. Surprisingly, it was only $24.99 also. Just about every time I've bought from Blockbuster early (except when I bought one just a day or two before it's release) it has been $34.99.
