Now that people are reporting getting their copies, I just put in my order for Messiah. Effectively bypassed the pending pre-order wait time.

Also finally threw in Nightmare and the Butcher Baker DVD.

As a fellow Scandinavian, our best chance is to wait and see what titles diabolikdvd.com will get in stock down the road. The alternative is to have someone in the US act as a middleman for you (a member has kindly offered his assistance in this thread before).

Right now, I am contemplating the second option, as Bill has gotten a few DVD's back in stock, which are OOP and very limited. And there's likely no chance Diabolik are going to get any of those. The BD releases, however, I am certain they will get back in stock eventually.

Could you maybe PM me the name of the user who wanted to help out? I think the best option for me at the moment, is to get some assistance from a fellow movie lover.

Hey Larusso, I am the guy that offered..currently waiting on stock of Neon Maniacs, The Redeemer and Just Before Dawn Blu Rays. None of these three are spoken for as of yet, some members have expressed interest but ultimately decided to pass on the offer I understand with the high shipping prices but its a better deal than scalpers on eBay as I do not charge extra only the amount that I pay. Just trying to help fellow obscure niche movie lovers.

Hopefully everyone gets their fill from diabolik and if not I'll have a few titles available.

He might not, haha.

A buddy of mine once was delivered the wrong item from him. He emails Bill, tells him the situation, asks if could send the wrong item back to him. He never gets a response, and a few days later the correct item shows up in the mail without a single word.

Got a dumb question: I just received a ship confirmation from diabolik, but I have no idea what this order could be. I already received my copy of ISLAND CLAWS from them. Could diabolik be handling the shipping for Code Red's 4 bundle? Still waiting for those.

Bill doesn't send shipping confirmation emails. They just show up in the mail 10-15 days or so after ordering.

That's kind of, odd? I paid premium for these I expect a tracking number at least or at least an email stating they have shipping.

And it is still a more efficient system than whatever they're using over at Diabolik DVD these days. I fully expect to receive my Code Red discs before those Scorpion Releasing ones. Just sad.

It's an old fashioned way of doing things without all the electronic confirmations but damned if Bill doesn't rush out orders with amazing speed; they usually arrive very quickly and he is reliable.

Diabolik has a stellar reputation for delivery, I'm not sure it's valid to generalize based on the state of the Scorpion pre-orders however haphazard those may seem.

What's wrong with Diabolik ? They are lightning fast. They don't always email you when they ship, but the package always arrives within days (to France).

They'll also send you a tracking number if you email them, unlike others

It's people like that who make Bill ****ing paranoid and stop delivering stuff.

Seriously not everything delivered had tracking numbers, Paypal will only disrupt him and his account, and he already mentioned he shipped out like 100 or so 4 packs yesterday.
