I don't. Four of my six Scream releases have slips. Only one was supposed to have one and didn't.

If you liked I, you should get II. If you didn't get I, you should get it first. II definitely has lesser movies than I, but is certainly worth buying if you were a fan of the first volume.

Everybody freaking out cuz I dared inquire about slipcovers, lol. I'm not obsessed with them but I prefer getting them over not getting them, of course.

Anyway, I went ahead and ordered The Funhouse, The Howling, and Witchboard directly from SF. Was pleased to discover I got free shipping with them. I was gonna get Pumpkinhead and They Live but they were $21 each and suddenly it occurred to me that Black Friday is right around the corner and if I wait a few weeks I'll probably be able to get them for less.

Grandpa: "Christmas Eve is the scariest damn night of the year. I'd be scared if I was you." You know all about Santa Claus?"

Billy: "Yes, he brings presents to all the good boys and girls"

Grandpa: "Santa only brings presents to those that been good all year. All the other ones, he punishes. What about you boy... you've been good all year?"

Billy: "Shakes head back and forth"

Grandpa: "You see Santa Claus tonight boy, you better run boy, with all your slipcovers for your life. Ha! ha! ha! ha!, he cackles"

Next time a slipcover arrives with one of the corners in merely near mint condition, just focus in on this man's eyebrows and your pain shall be assuaged. They're hypnotic.

Oh wait...it does:

I guess it's too bad the slipnuts can't be bothered to read more than one page of this thread (if they did, they wouldn't ask the same question four times per day) or be bothered to actually use the slipcover thread.

And it's a legitimate question: Why do the mods allow this increasing cascade of slipcover questions when a slipcover forum exists?

Most of the topics involving Scream releases on the entire message board have been rendered useless by these off-topic slip discussions.
don't stop there. while we're at it, put all the wishlists in the wishlists subforum, put all the arrow praise in the arrow subforum, put all the individual movie comments in their respective subforums, and then.... hey wait... the scream factory thread is now only 5 pages long? oh.....

I think I'm going to go throw some mint condition slipcovers in the trash can right now, videotape it, post it, and see that same expression from some people here. No need for superfluous packaging, right? Best to be a good friend to the Earth and recycle it!

Please do! It will make all the other slipcovers that much more collectible.
Formats come and go, slipcovers are eternal.

May as well throw in my 2 cents about slipcovers since everyone else is. I'm usually not one to care about this sort of thing, but I get a little OCD crazy when some of my titles have slips and some don't. I'd prefer having all of my Collector's Editions match. Plus I love having the original artwork displayed with the new SF art on the slip over it. That being said, I do think an SF slipcover thread is a good idea since people (myself included) tend to ask about them fairly often.

i will say, even though i like slips on my scream CEs, condition of slip covers do not bother me. my uh.... slipcover for.... the house in the alley, has a piece of envelope stuck to it, because the mail room guy must have folded the advesive over right on the dvd, and it was stuck on there good. and my slip for The Howling was completely split down the middle, but i just used glue for it. good as new. i personally don't get the hysteria, and the gnashing of teeth the comes from a slip cover with a slight dent in the corner, but thats just me, to each their own. some of mine are pretty rough looking. but i just like the uniformity of it all.

That's not OCD at all, that's just being anal about your shelves. Which is fine, a lot of collectors are. It's just frustrating when there are SO many slipcover posts when it really comes down to random results. No one can tell anyone if Amazon or Scream are shipping out slipcovers because it's a totally random thing.
