Cheech and Chong-up in smoke in Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi Guys -

Is this movie, Cheech and Chong-Up In Smoke, ever going to be released in blu ray. This movie is so funny, I would love to see this in blu ray video quality. I currently just watch this with my HD box on HBO in 1080i, but it would be that much better in 1080p and HD audio as well.

There's a dedicated thread about Cheech and Chong already, but it's been a while since anyone has posted in there. I'm guessing it's because there really hasn't been too much news on any of them coming to Blu. That's just a guess, though. I'd be totally down for Up in Smoke in Blu. Lord knows I've seen my share of C&C movies (although strangely I don't remember much

As much as this movie appears on tv, you would think a certain company would get the hint, and release it in blu ray for us C&C fans. Pleeeez!

I was just thinking about getting some c&c on blu they need to get on this it would definitely sell. up in smoke is my favorite c&c movie

I remember seeing this streaming 1080p on Netflix and thought it looked dang good for being streamed! Please bring it Blu-ray Paramount!

I'd love to see this released. I'm surprised it hasn't come out considering this is the most popular and arguably the best stoner comedy of all time.

Hey guys - reading this thread brings back memories. Have only seen a handful of Cheech & Chong films, and their films are some of the few comedies where I've actually laughed out loud.

I do have a question about one of their films - I saw this probably around 30+ years ago and have no idea what the title was - however, I do have dim memories of a couple of scenes:

-In one scene, Cheech (or Chong) accidentally (or intentionally) $i$$@! through a window on someone else's head.

-In another scene, Cheech (or Chong) is driving a crummy van & somehow soap?! chips gets in his mouth - to wash out the taste, he accidentally drinks a glass of $%$# that was on the dash-board of the van.

Ring a bell?!
