I just received my new B&W SCMS rear speakers + I have ordered the B&W HTM2D center channel + an Optoma HD80 Full-HD projector.

Had to try the SCMS in stereo. They do very well as stereo speakers, in fact they are just a B&W 805S in a smaller enclosure. They do sound a little less full in the lowest tones below 60Hz compared to 805. They where bi-amp with 4*160 NAD watt

The fittings where enclosed with the speakers, they are easy to mount, and very flexsible.

With an audio setup like that you should have a front projector and a huge screen. I think that the seemingly tiny tv of yours gets buried in the background. It's just a thought, not a criticism. Those speakers must sound great though.

Here is my living room setup at the moment. Kind of hoping my TV will randomly blow up so Best Buy can give me something newer and nicer under my warranty lol

I painted both the Xbox and HD DVD player with Dupi-Color Vinyl Fabic & Spray (usually found at Home Depot and Loews)... Applies like spray paint without the need to sand the surface... Also doesn't run or smear like spray paint does... And yes I do play a lot of games... I work at home, and you can see I don't get much done...

Thank you very much for that really nice compliment I apologize for the late reply.

In response to your question, I LOVE my Martin Logans! I have owned and listened to various box type speakers, and none of them offered the midrange "magic" that the Martin Logans do. Vocals really shine on them. About the only speakers in the under $25k range I've listened to that came close were B&W's Nautilus 801's and Legacy Audio's Whisper. Both of those speakers had more slam in the low end, but when it comes to the midrange, It's going to be hard to beat an electrostatic speaker. And Martin Logan makes some of the best.

The Martin Logan reQuests that I am currently using are perfect for the size of my room. And with them teamed up with the Martin Logan Descent subwoofer, the sound is nothing short of amazing.

If you do decide to get Martin Logans, I think you'll really enjoy them.

My modest living room setup.

Currently contemplating a dedicated theater room with front projector (was leaning on an HD1/RS1 but now fantasizing about the new SXRD Black Pearl).
