Yep, very true, I did mention that in other posts. That question was just specifically about the subtitles and their fonts in the opening sequence, but I didn't mean to make it sound like that's the only improvement, the use of the OCN for that sequence also makes the new disc superior.

Seems unlikely, since there's already a normal edition on the market. They heavily promoted these steelbooks ad limited editions, I think.

This isn't like Gattaca, where the steelbook was followed by a plastic case version, because there wasn't one out there before then.

IDK in terms of over the top, its more bombastic than Hammer Horror, the classic Universal Monster movies & the 1979 Dracula movie with Frank Langella, but doesn't even sniff near absolute berserker levels of over the top like Blood for Dracula, so its definitely somewhere in the middle of that diagram.
