Those who want to resolve the loading outfits issue, no fix yet. That should be priority too since it is noticeable & shouldn’t even happen on PS5 SSD reads.

I played NG+ when the ps5 launched, so it’s too soon to replay the game. I’ll just get the DLC for now.

is it worry the $20? also can I access the dlc with a cleared file (post story), or do I need to start a new playthrough?

You can only access it on a save that has made it past Act 1. The guest giver is in the town as soon as you enter the middle part of Tsushima.

I'm really in the mood to play a Far Cry 4/ Just Cause type game. Open world, map covered, bases to take over kind of experience. Will this game scratch that itch or can anyone recommend anything? Played Far Cry 3&5 already. Also been thinking about Watch Dogs Legion or maybe an Assassins Creed title?

Yes you can access Iki Island after beating the story if you still have it saved. No need to start over.

Got my director's cut physical for PS5 and I updated my PS4 version on my PS4 so I'll be able to upload the save. I will start this (new game+ + expansion) once I finish Twelve Minutes.

Not sure if you need any progress. I would guess that you’d need to progress past Act I to get it but could be wrong.

I just wrapped up the Iki Expansion. Got all but 1 trophy because it’s tied to Legends Online Mode & I don’t care for that.

IMO, this is the best looking game currently out on consoles. So much 4K sweetness @ 60 with the best HDR I’ve seen in a game.

Insomniac should take notes as should all other Sony 1st Party. Release your games Native 4K/60 instead of dropping Resolution for a half baked Ray Tracing implementation.

Loaded up my save last night on the PS5, and my entire console is now bricked.

At first it just seemed like the Ghost save was corrupted and I got a couple of error messages that closed the game out. A few minutes later, the entire console went into error mode and it said it was rebuilding the database for me.

Numerous tries to rebuild the database from PS5 safe mode and even resetting the console haven't yielded any results, it'll just blink blue a few times and then shut off. Looks like I'll be talking with Sony about getting a replacement, I've only had this digital console for 2 months!

OMG the resolution difference is not that big! The Performance + RT modes in Ratchet and Spiderman are perfect!

I mean it is still using checkerboard rendering so it's still not native 4K but I have a feeling we're going to see that a lot this generation. I still think Last of Us 2 is the best looking game on playstation especially after the last update. It might not be native 4K but the TAA method they use really sharpens the image to the point you can hardly tell.

Kinda sorta. Yeah, there's no way this game is better looking than either The Last of Us: Part II or Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. I mean, I also don't think this is one of the greatest open world games ever made like fans were saying when this originally came out, but even just for last gen there's no way to deny that The Last of Us: Part II could very well be the best looking game of the whole PS4 generation. Aside from it being 30 FPS, it felt like I was already playing on a PS5. The amount of detail (big and little) that they managed to put into that game was something else.

It's even more laughable to take a shot at the only developer (that I know of) that has taken the time to figure out how to successfully implemented RT into a game while still maintaining a rock solid 60 FPS with a still high enough resolution to keep the game looking great.

Not looking to argue or anything. Just calling it like I see it. Also, if you want to really nitpick, the animation work in The Last of Us: Part II is also superior to Ghost of Tsushima...

All I've got left to do is defeat The Eagle. I loved this DLC, it might be my favorite part of the game now. Great value for the amount of playtime I got. Square Enix should take notes when they charge $20 for DLC.
