Since they quickly printed more of The Warriors my gut tells me these won't vanish. They seem roughly popular enough and in the right genres to get printed again by some bean-counter making the call.

I thought something was happening early this year so I managed to pick up most of the ones from the paramount Warner deal that I had been putting off during the BN sale in June. Do I really need Jennifer 8? No, but I want it! I picked up Sliver as well. I can't decide if that one is so bad it's good or just Tom Berenger losing a bet, but it is entertaining. Good to have the info, I think I have everything I need. I will probably pick up the Warriors when it comes back.

Wow, I didn't know all this was happening with Paramount, I hope they make some other arrangements, there's a lot of unreleased catalogue titles I'd like. It seems that my humble (& quite cheap) Blu-ray of Congo is worth a few bob now.

I think I might just d2d a few of my dvds like Congo and The Odd Couple if the local used shops don't have a blu in stock. Haven't even seen Congo seen it was released to theaters and my dvd's been sealed for ages. I'd imagine many of these will get a new deal but it's tough to say which will/will not make the cut. One would think a reasonably popular cult hit like Wayne's World should be easy to obtain, although I thought the same for the Ace Ventura movies and they've been tough to find for a few months now.

I have 5 wal-marts all within 30 minutes of me (4 in town one out of town). 2 Carry healthy blu ray sections (well healthy for Wal-mart anyways) and 2 carry next to nothing other than the dump bin. The out of town one has just a handful at best. It's a crap shoot but I'm thankful to at least have 2 good locations.

I actually also have 3 Targets in town. These are all fairly consistent with their stock. Nothing great, but enough to keep me checking back in. Best Buy is hit or miss for me. Some months they're well stocked, other times not so much. As far as Scream Factory releases go they've gotten better but still don't carry most of what everyone else has reported seeing. Honestly I'm just happy when the shelves appear stocked and there are no gaping holes anywhere.

The list includes both Paramount BD's and DVD's.

And it seems like the bulk of them are DVD-only, so don't get too excited when you see something that you didn't know was on BD. Chances are it isn't.

There's also at least one straight-up Warner title in the list (The Avengers).

Yes, it was a rough list just meant as a general guideline. There are some releases not on it, and some releases on it that shouldn't be. In general though I think looking over that list will give you an idea of what you need.

I haven't looked at other sites but it's gone on Amazon, only offered through outside sellers at higher costs. Does imply it is out of print. The Arrow is cheaper on Amazon but is region-locked.

Re: Bound

Like I said before, tons of Olive releases are not being carried by Amazon anymore for unknown reasons. Each one I have checked IS still readily available at Best Buy, at Wal-Mart, and at Olive Film's own webstore.
