Stumbled across this thread and I have to say what a lucky SOB you are I'm actually looking for that one myself. I haven't had much luck with my local pawn shops, but it has been a while since I looked around. Some of the former chains have been bought out by another chain, so maybe I'll have better luck this time. Anything has to be better than the close to retail Half Price Books.

Post any used blu-rays bought at thrift stores or pawn shops along with prices and quality of it.

I usually go to a nearby pawn that sells them for $4 each including some 3D movies.

Awesome pick-ups for me today.

Diamond Edition Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with slip (slip looks brand new)
Platinum Edition Sleeping Beauty 50th Anniversary edition
Platinum Pinocchio 70th Anniversary edition
Diamond Edition Bambi with slip
Alice in Wonderland 60th Anniversary Edition with slip
Collector's Edition The Nightmare Before Christmas with slip

Picked up all of these for $66. I feel like this was a complete coup for me. Really excited about Pinocchio and Snow White with slip.

Pawn Shop haul. $6 each. Soul Surfer and Avatar are still sealed but had Walmart stickers on them. And Oz is a new release so I thought $6 isn't bad. I would've preferred the other artwork with the Blu+DVD copy but for $6 I can't complain.

I just found out my pawn shop lowered their buying prices so they'll only give you $3 for a blu-ray now. I had some I wanted to trade-in for cash but I'm second guessing now with that price drop, they used to give you $4. I know it's only a dollar decrease but it all adds up.



So whoever got rid of these for $3 is cray-cray.

I only have one good pawn shop near me, and they don't have many good/cheap BDs.

All of the Pawn Shops in my area have all seemed to drop their blu prices to $6 now, but seems like the rest of the city has now realized it too, as they've all been picked over...
