Does anyone know if they will be selling the Wrath of Khan posters? It's bloody brilliant!

Real deal dude, double sided glossy... if the seller gets anymore instock I'll let you know but if you find one before then, just make sure the seller has good feedback, it should be a glossy DS... I think it would be safe.

What seller did you get it at? I'd like to bookmark the seller.

Someone on another forum who personally asked them at the gallery confirmed none of these will make it online for Mondo sales. However they did say that each of the artist in the show was given a number of copies for sale on their own personal sites and it was said that Stout would have 300 Regular Copies and 120 of the variants (roughly half the run) to sell. No updates for Stout other than he will be selling them sometime soon but he usually has lotteries via email so it's pretty tough to get picked so we'll see how it all plays out.

Stout has said in the past that his 'lotteries' aren't truly random, he does go to some effort to make sure the posters are dispersed throughout the country/world... Or at least that is what I've read into what he has written in the past.

Yup, plus he's also told people to send in pics of them & their Stout posters to increase chances. The rich getting richer!

Good times at Monstermania on Saturday. The craziest I've seen it yet. Got some Mondo/horror screenprints signed. Unfortunately Lou David from The Burning broke his hip and only signed Friday. I was the only maniac carrying around 4" tubes and unrolling/re-rolling these kind of posters is a complete pain in the ass. What a sight to see - LOL!

Super psyched to get these though:

Gunnar Hansen

Alex Winter

Michael Rooker & Tom Towles

Robert Englund

Until the next show...

Or you can accidentally have a bad dream and think you are breaking into a cabin trying to rescue someone who is trapped but in reality you are punching holes in your bedroom wall and through an autographed U2 poster frame...with glass which did shatter all over the place. Yes....that is a true story and no I don't do drugs, just was extremely exhausted and found myself standing there after waking up looking looking around seeing total chaos.

Plexiglass is always a safe option, but everything I have is glass and with the temps in Seattle rarely reaching past 80 degrees, I have not had a problem with the glass causing moisture but I can imagine in warmer climates it could happen.

If I win the lottery I would just be happy with a Stout version.

Thanks!
20th Century Fox releases are difficult for dealers to get, don't let any of them fool you, they are hard and because of that some dealers resort to getting what they can from theater employees, and some simply make knock-offs of them and I think we all knew who I am referring to.

I am overwelmed right now! First at the posters themselves, but then the signatures you got! You are one lucky guy!

Posters look really great... I really like the blue marker you used on the Nightmare poster. I'm curious to know what your interactions with the cast were like. Were they friendly? Did they acknowledge the work they were signing or make any comments towards it? I imagine they've signed just about everything by now, but I'm curious to hear if they had anything to say.

Thanks guys! I waited almost 4 hours for Robert Englund. When I got to him and showed him the posters he went wild. He loves the one Methane did and says it's one of his favorites. Apparently he's a big Alamo/Mondo fan and knew all about them being recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures and he said "make sure you keep them behind UV glass!!!"

Alex Winter didn't say much. He seemed grateful to the fans but just don't ask him to pose doing an air guitar from Bill and Ted. Not gonna happen!

Gunnar's table was empty. I felt a little bad since he's such a huge icon. We had a nice 10 minute chat about the stuff Mondo is doing and his assistant has only been able to score the House by the Cemetary up until this point. He must be using dial up.

Rooker and Towles were really cool. James sent me 2 extra posters for the guys with notes inscribed on the back. They were really grateful and Towles even gave me back my $20 for his sig he was so happy. Oh and Rooker was kind of "out there".

Somebody hit the jackpot:

Rare movie posters unearthed at a Pennsylvania estate sale

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFvIj...ature=youtu.be

Later this month, Heritage Auctions will sell a collection of incredibly rare vintage movie posters that were discovered at an estate sale in Berwyck, Pennsylvania. The posters were stuck together with wallpaper paste, since at one time, they were probably glued to the wall of a movie house.

The staff at Heritage had to have been amazed as each layer was separated, and revealed treasure after treasure. There was a total of 33 posters from 1931 and 1932, and because they hadn’t been exposed to light and the elements, most of them were in remarkably god condition.

The posters are expected to fetch more than $250,000.00, but they way things have been selling at Heritage lately, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a much higher number realized. You can view the entire auction at the Heritage Auctions web site.

Speaking of Alex Winters..

here he is talking about the Bill & Ted 3 Script. Which he and Keanu agreed on making..

I wonder if the Avenger character poster are going to shipped to theaters.
I don't think they will be. More of a promotional item.
