I saw that. Which I found odd. But I guess with them carrying less and less titles online.

This has happened to me a few times now from both Target and Gruv. That particular packaging just splits open on the side. Thankfully all of them were delivered and with no damage to the content inside.

So i was at target today 5pm.
I went back to the tiny movie section. They had the tags out. But no movies on the shelve. I asked a guy if they had copies of Mack & Rita on bd? He says yeah. I should have it in a box on my cart. He goes over to the box and opens it up and soon after found it. I bought it for $16.99. But there was a 15% off target circle. Plus an additional 5% with red card. So I got it for $14.44 after all the things added in. |

Those flat cardboard pancakes are near devoid of any protection to the items inside - they rely on the item inside to provide rigidity, which is probably why they get used on small media, which are flat. However, I assume they're probably really cheap, which is why they get used. They're not the worst though, in my humble opinion. I think those poly mailer bags (the one with no bubbles/padding) are even worse, although in my experience, it's usually Amazon using those, and their orders are more likely to be delivered by their first party or freelance delivery teams, and tend to be handled a little less rough than a third party carrier, in general.
