I was thinking that too. Would mean they'd have to re-author the discs though, and not sure whether that's something they'd want to do. I've noticed that they ditched the booklets he contributed to for some titles, but removing on-disc extras as well seems a little extreme!

Great!

Looks like I wont be getting it now, no way I can get to the address they sent it too and no idea why that address was used when I have been using my new address for a year and bought many items since I moved...
Yours has dispatched? Mine just says 'At Warehouse'. Anyone know what standard postage they use for a big set like this? I assume it'll be Royal Mail 48...

On booklets, happily today I received 5 films from the sale and all came with booklet, despite some no longer listing one as an extra on the website.

I do always read them

(fwiw: Spider Baby, Retaliation, Ashes & Diamonds, Knightriders, Tenderness of the Wolves)

Paid for the faster delivery but looks like a HUGE delay cause of this cock up...

So annoying.

Does Arrow always keep a certain amount of movies for their own shop because some are not available on Amazon anymore like Battles Without Honour but are still available at Arrow's Shop.

Appears so. It was that purchase that reminded me to always check in store purchases of Arrow catalogue items.

Sometimes they don't keep enough stock for themselves (Hello Dekalog).

Yeah I got Knightriders today in the post, and the booklet is pretty hefty! Kinda wish I'd got Tenderness of the Wolves now but I probably wouldn't watch it right away (and would've just been buying it to secure a booklet).

Retaliation was definitely gonna come with a booklet since it's limited to 3000 copies (or at least it was supposed to be, and same with Massacre Gun). Surprised Ashes & Diamonds still has the booklet...again kinda should've picked it up, as I have the original windowbox release (I kinda hate windowboxes and could've sold it on).

On the topic of booklet, all my sale order titles arrived with them, I haven't had one without a booklet yet which is good.

On the topic of Runaway Train, Calum has said before that repressing or rereleasing titles (such as U.S. Ports of UK discs) and retaining the extras he produced is illegal, so could have something to do with that but I doubt it

On the topic of Donnie Darko, I just got a dispatch notification as well, I'm in Australia and picked regular shipping, but I did order the second it went up

Does anyone think the Herschell Gordon Lewis set will drop substantially in price before it runs out? Horror is my absolute favorite genre, but I've never ventured farther back than the late 70s, and having read a lot about him before, I'm really interested in this set.

However, despite the low price per film, I can't really justify that amount of money for all those blind buys...

Visually yes, but it has distractingly bad sound.

Aah. Crap, so it's a lose lose situation? I remember something about it now. Hissy sound?

I'd been holding off on Bay of Blood for a long time as it's one of my least favourite Bava's, but I was thinking of ordering it for Xmas.

I think that I'd find the problematic audio easier to support than Arrows muted colours.

FWIW I could live with the the sound on the Kino because the visuals were much improved over the Arrow.

Thanks. That's the decision that I came to a long time ago. Then I forgot

Try catching a couple of the film before you drop coin on this one. I watched Wizard of Gore and it was one of the most boring films I've seen in my life.

It is a bummer, but at least for future releases you know you'll get a booklet if you buy around release day. They didn't get rid of them, which would be the REAL bummer.

I have 90% of the old Arrow releases I want, since I'm not a huge horror guy. I am a little scared to order the few I want, worried they will be new and cheaper editions. Remo Williams for example. Might get them on ebay.

Can anyone tell me if their sale items arrived by TNT or Royal Mail? My order says dispatched by TNT 2nd class 3 day service. That was Monday and nothing so far. Wondering if the delivery will be by TNT or it's handed to Royal Mail for the delivery part?

Logistics are done by TNT then handed to Royal Mail for the final stage of delivery.

I got a dispatch email for my order Friday and it arrived Wednesday, in other words 3 working days or 4 postal days/nights later depending on how you look at it.

Got my copy of Remo Williams from the Arrow sale in the post yesterday. The booklet was included.
