That is why Gandalf had put YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary). As it was discussed previously, Wal-Mart actually didnt even have a set price until today I believe because they were waiting to undercut whomever was cheapest (thus the $18.98 price).

I believe he is correct! A few others mentioned that Wal-Mart was $18.98 now as well, but from what I understand they didnt really announce that until today. They purposely waited so they could undercut the other B&M stores.

I just called my Wal-mart and the associate I spoke with told me they'd be selling Avatar for $29.96 @ midnight If I'm not mistaken though, isn't that the full retail price and maybe that guy doesn't know what he's talking about?

I can get it at midnight at Hastings for $22.99, and they have some free food and stuff going on...or I can drive less than a mile to Wal-mart and risk getting it for $18.98. Decisions, decisions....

Just go to WM. Not to bash WM, but MOST of their associates have no clue about their products. I'm sure it's $19.99 or $18.98.

I guess that makes sense. Most of the time they don't even have the new releases priced right on the display. They just have the regular sticker on there, and then you get to the register and find out that its actually $5 less.

Still I can't find any other confirmation that its going to be $18.98. The site says $24.96

Don't go by their site because it's always different online than their actual retail stores.

Yeah I've been debating about going Prime....but I only get stuff from amazon when I cant find it at my BB/Target/Walmart, which are within a 2 mile radius. I guess my problem is I'm stupidly impatient when it comes to having the stuff right away in my hands when it comes out. Product of the instant gratification generation I guess!
