Hello JV.

If you check out the music he did throughout his career, it changed quite a bit, but it's all on the weird quirky side. His early stuff was more avant garde trippy do-wop, then more jazzy, then more hard rock, then more fusion, but with some real silly comical stuff all the way through.

I really like all of it, but I'm a big fan of technical complicated music, and I like the silly stuff too.

What's up Russ?

We had a few drinks and party favors , but he is married with four kids so he couldn't stay too long. We watched part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame BD. It was fun.

You won't have a problem on/with Amazon. I'd def call or email, or do a quick LIVE CHAT with them & explain what happened. That way they'll have a record of the problem & will prob also contact the 3rd party in question.
Evenin' Aero.

Zoverstocks still hasn't responded to my message yet , so I'll just wait to see what they say. If they give me any more guff, I'll contact Amazon about it.

It's all good, Frogger. Every now and then you just gotta Sheik Yerbouti.

Evening Wabo.

I Sheiked Mahbouti a bit too much last night. Work was rough today and I'm struggling to stay awake even though it's just after 8pm here.

What's up my-hat-man?

He has so many that it's hard to choose. My favorite would probably be the live album The Best Band You Never Heard in You're Life. As far as studio albums, I would say Joe's Garage and Apostrophe, but I really like them all.

He really should start his own thread so that we have a centralized location to mess with him.

Glad you're doing well Al. I'll be doing great after I get tomorrow out of the way. I've got a long day, but then Friday I have a very short day and I'm off for the weekend.

I think that at one point I had 297 BD's, but after gradually selling them off to pay bills I got down to about 20. I don't know if I'll ever get back up near 300 again, as I used to buy all kinds of stuff, but now I'm trying to be more selective. I'd really like to build my concert BD's back up though.

I have always tried and be very selective in what I buy. So I am glad to see you have seen the light and will be doing the same thing going forward.

Yeah, the first 50 or so that I sold didn't bother me one bit, as I obviously started selling the ones that I didn't care as much for. The further along I got on selling them, the harder it became to pick which ones to let go of, so I learned from that experience to just be more selective when buying them.

Yea, some people just continue buying stuff, no matter what their Financial situation is...

[Show spoiler]** Soon as I "Update" my recent haul (see my thread from last night - PICS included!!), I'll be just Under 800 BD's **

You and Travis are two of a kind. I went overboard, I thought at the time, when Laserdisc came out. They averaged 35 to 40 dollars back then and I bought a slew of them.

Sorry for pulling the lazy guy by not quoting everyone, but I've had a long week, I'm starving, and I've got company coming over in a little while to party, so:

Thanks everybody!

I've been dying to get another concert BD since I went from about 40 down to about 7, so I picked this one up again to watch tonight while partying:
