Same. Noticed it shipped from someplace called Clackamass, Oregon. Odd considering most of the times it ships from Kentucky or Indiana.

I went this afternoon to get the Top Gun Maverick Steelbook and the movie section has practically shrunk down to nothing. Not only that, they hadn't even put out the new releases yet. They had to get mine from the back, which might be the only reason they even had any of the Steelbooks left.

Even in cases where Best Buy didn't have them, Target did. Nothing this time around. The prior wave they had them according to the website but never put them on the shelves, so I bought elsewhere (I want to see steels in hand). No Poltergeist or Lost Boys either - titles they definitely would have carried a year ago.

Been meaning to ask for a while; where did the B2G1 sales go? I read earlier on this page that there might be one this month. I just feel like I remember last year it felt like there were quite a few between Amazon and Target. Do I just have an altered memory?

Edit to differentiate from the post above me: Just wondering if anyone else noticed a lack of these types of sales or if I'm crazy

The first post in the thread lists the dates of the previous sales, which is the best indication anyone has to predict when the next one may happen. There is zero indication other than that list at this time.

But it won't stop people from asking 3-4 times per week

Neither will posting in All CAPS and BOLD extra large red letters that Target has decided to never do one again nor the exact dates and time of hte next B2G! sale.

It could be posted with 90 confirmatory links and within 5-10 post someone almost certainly will ask if anybody knows when the next sale will be. Apparently there is this secret conspiracy out there that multiple people who know something are intentionally withholding information until exactly the 56th person asks the question b/c nobody in this forum ever posts information within seconds of it being known -- in 12 different threads

Got mine delivered today. I chose the slip 4k version during the B2G1 sale. However, after seeing it in person, I think I’ll just return it and get the steelbook (ordered the WM magnet steelbook version one but if it comes damaged will probably just go for the common steelbook).

It’s late. Did that even make sense haha?!

Does anyone know if Target has price matched Best Buy Black Friday movie prices via chat in the past? I typically always just buy from whoever is having the sale, but bought a large Target gc a few weeks ago when they had 10% off them, so wouldn't mind using some of that up. Thanks!

I pre-ordered the slipcase version from Target but since it isn't scheduled to arrive until next week I went to the store and got the steelbook (love the art). I scanned it at the self check out and it came up $29.99 like the slip cover version!

I got notice that USPS delivered my copy of Maverick Tuesday evening at 8:46pm...it wasn't on my porch. I'm assuming the Post Office keeps track of when the expected delivery vs actual delivery takes place...so delivering a day late is a bad mark (or hurts their track record)....so it's not uncommon for the driver to fudge and say he/she delivered the package on the expected day...and for the package to show up the next day.

Sure enough the package was delivered on Wednesday. The fudging of the delivery date has happened 3-4 times in the last year. We've also had days the mail didn't show up for a day or two, then we get flooded with the previous two days (we know this since we signed up for USPS informed delivery email). We had one period, where we didn't get mail for 5 days. We are not in a rural area and it wasn't weather related.
