I just checked my 4K disc. Cleaned the disc first then played in my Sony UBP-X700. Sadly, I also experienced the freezing at 17:48. Just sent an email to Movie Zyng, who I placed my preorder for the disc set.

Just got an email from Allied Vaughn about the slipcovers. They said no need for me to send them additional information since I included my home address in my original email. They will be sending out the slipcovers by the end of this week.

I also purchased this title (from Deep Discount) and experienced the same issue as others have had in that it the picture freezes at about 17 minutes . I have reported it to Deep Discount and am awaiting a response from them.

Reading these freezing incidents on the 4K, I dont have a 4k yet- but got the 4k to future proof the collection (plus I'm a Grace Kelly super fan) how do I test the disc! Ahhh!

Received the same Allied email and just received a notification from USPS informed delivery that I have a package coming out of High Point, NC due to arrive Monday. I assume its for the slip because I don't recognize the tracking number from other shipments I am expecting.

Received an email response from Movie Zyng's Managing Director on Tuesday about the freezing problem on the 4K disc. He informed me,

"I’ve reported it to the studio. Movie Zyng will publish any news updates regarding this on our Facebook page. Please follow the page to get any replacement instructions or policy updates."

I only intermittently follow the news, but haven't they had layoffs in the last few years, followed by an increase in titles per month released? Combined with greatly reduced Blu-ray sales over the last few years and something has to give. And that thing is almost always quality control.

If it's something I'm waiting 3+ months on, I don't expect a slipcover so I don't mind either way. But when it's supposed to be included and is a factor as to why somebody pre-orders and pays full price, it needs to be included.

I emailed them on either last Wednesday or Thursday and they replied on Sunday basically asking two people to test for 'systemic issues' and haven't heard anything back from them.

If they don't reply closer to end of return window, I'll email them again to just try and get a refund again. I don't like leaving stuff up in the air longer than that.

Just put in my 4K of High Society, it freezes in chapter 23/24. Tried multiple times. Guess I will return it, too bad, otherwise it was amazing.
